Engine Yard's Hackfest Details

Our friends at Engine Yard are at it again. They've announced the information about their Hackfest this year. The best part? Everyone attending the conference gets a Solo account for the duration of the conference. We're really looking forward to seeing what you come up with this weekend!

Here are the details.

MWRC speaker interviews getting rolling

I just posted the first MWRC speaker interview of 2009. David Brady and Kirk Haines answered questions about the conference and their talks on twitter, but the whole thing has been wrapped up in a post at On Ruby.

Have fun with it, and watch for more interviews to show up between now and the conference starting - then make sure you're at MWRC 2009 to catch all the action.

Announcing Engine Yard's Hackfest 2.0

Engine Yard is hosting another Hackfest during this year's conference. Like last year, attendees will be able to hang out in Engine Yard's suite in the evenings to mingle and hack. Their suite will be in the Hilton.

Click here for more information about the local hotels. Much thanks to Engine Yard for putting this on again.

Speakers Announced!

We are really happy to announce the speakers for the next MountainWest RubyConf! We were overwhelmed with 4 times the number of proposals than we could accept, so we've slightly changed the format and are expanding the number of sessions from 16 to 20! You can see all the speakers here.
